People changes at Allied Medical

It’s likely that if you’ve called Allied Medical recently in regard to a trial or to find out some more information on our products you will have heard a couple of new voices on the end of our phones – and to add the fun – they are both called Alison!

Luckily – our new Operations Co-ordinator – Alison Glover, is happy to be called Ali so that does save some confusion. Her role is to oversee the customer care team and make sure all of our operational processes run smoothly. The other Alison (Alison Langslow) is our new Trials Co-ordinator – so if you are trialling our products, or need a quote for anything – you are bound to talk to her sooner or later.

You’re also likely to hear a voice from the past in Annette Jamison, who was our Trial Co-ordinator for several years before she went on maternity leave. Now that her little girl is a little older, Annette is back each afternoon to help us out and has been a wonderful trainer for our new team members.

Funny thing is that our entire Customer Care Team all have names starting with A – so they truly are the A Team (good news though, is that none of them look like Mr T – although I’m sure some of them wouldn’t mind some of his gold jewellery).

New Headrests from Otto Bock

At the NZAOT Conference in Wellington we will launch the new range of soft headrests from Otto Bock. One of the headrests also comes with a kit to allow it to be contoured to meet specific needs. We will also be releasing some new headrest mounting hardware, that we know is going to help position people even more comfortably. Think of completing a headrest set-up without the need for 3 hands!!!

ACCESS Clinics

Allied Medical is pleased to be involved in the new accessible ACCESS Clinics. These clinics start in the Auckland region in August and are designed to assist assessors and their clients in finding wheelchair and seating solutions. And to help out, we plan to have either one of our product specialists or technicians available to help set up any of our products that are being trialled – including ones from the re-issue store.
