The Kindness Box Project is all about giving older people living alone in Auckland, shoeboxes filled with small gifts, treats and daily living aids to help add a little extra joy to their day. We want to focus on those who have little contact with friends and family and whose loved ones may not be able to provide them with those extra treats outside of what is essential and we'll be working with Enliven through Presbyterian Support in Auckland to ensure we reach the right people in our community. It's a small gesture that can make a big impact on someone's day - and we need your help to make this happen!
Want to join the Kindness Box Project?
There are just four simple steps you need to take...
Fill in the form below - we'll mail out a kit with a postcard, sticker and instructions for how to create your kindness box.
Once you receive your kit you can create your kindness box! You can use a wrapped clean shoebox or purchase a similar sized box from a local store. All boxes need to be easily opened at our end as we will be checking each box for health and safety purposes before delivery - this means the box and lid need to be wrapped separately (see below video on how to wrap a shoebox). Add in a personal note on the provided postcard and place the Kindness Box Project sticker on top of the box.
Drop off or post your kindness box to our head office in Albany;
Allied Medical 29 Triton Drive, Rosedale, Auckland 0632
Give yourself a high five for doing your bit to bring a little more joy to the world then spread the word to friends and family! Once we receive all the boxes we will deliver them to Presbyterian Support who will then distribute the boxes throughout the community.

If you or your household would like to donate multiple boxes, please enter the number of boxes you would like to donate in the Additional Notes field. The first 100 boxes dropped off will also have a complimentary daily living aid added into their kindness box - if there's room!
