20 Years of Allied Medical

This month marks a special occasion for Allied Medical as we celebrate our 20th anniversary.
Back in 1998 while Auckland battled a power crisis, Prime began broadcasting and Bic Runga’s, Drive, won album of the year, father and daughter duo, Ken and Katie Noble, were establishing a company focused on bringing the world's best assistive technology to New Zealanders.
Today, Allied Medical continues to distribute assistive technology across the country with a truly committed and long-standing team. The technology has changed drastically (for the better!) but the core focus of people helping people has remained. Over the last twenty years, Allied Medical has worked alongside valued suppliers, assessors and dealers to provide Kiwi’s with over 8,000 Wheelchairs, 3,300 Powerchairs, 1,300 Scooters and 51,000 Walking Aids! That’s over 63,000 New Zealanders whose lives have been improved by increased movement and independence. We think that's a reason to celebrate.
