Helen's Story
Just when I thought walking our dog was a safe and pleasurable thing to do, my dog and another were chasing each other and they slammed into my leg. Straight away I knew that things were not good.
My husband came and rescued me and took me to hospital with one broken leg that needed a plate inserted. Twelve weeks non weight bearing was certainly an awful blow! Luckily Allied Medical helped out and supplied me with a wheelchair. It gave me freedom to go out and about and even get back to walking our dog, going to supermarket and out to restaurants. Thankfully I’ve had a full recovery and am very pleased to say that my life is back to normal.
