Miami J’s patented design is indicated for: c-spine precautions for trauma patients, immobilization for pre and post c-spine surgery, and other conditions requiring gross immobilization of the mid-cervical spine.
Bioengineered to minimize pressure points in key known areas: Chin, occiput, trapezius, and clavicle. Miami J offers features that enhance compliance, while providing immobilization, inhibition of skin deterioration, and patient comfort.

Miami J is bioengineered to minimize key pressure points like the chin or back of the head. It features comfort adjustment angulation buttons to fine tune fit and relieve pressure, and flexible sternal pads that can be removed for eating, excessive swelling, or for sleeping comfort.
Simple to Use
The Miami J cervical collar's simple sizing system is phenotype-based to make it easy to select your size for a proper fit. Washable, antibacterial Sorbatex™ padding is clinically-proven to inhibit microbial growth.

Please note: The sizing of the Miami J collar is based on 6 phenotypes to ensure correct fit and optimum immobilisation. Phenotype-driven sizing system makes size selection simple while drastically reducing the margin of error in fitting a patient. Each collar has a bioengineered front with a specific back designed to work together for superior immobilisation. We only stock the Regular and Short sizes, however, please chat to our team if you require another size as we may be able to order this for you by special request. Short: Standard size for adult males and short-necked adult females.
Regular: Standard size for adult females and thin, adult males.
Where can I see and try on the different braces and supports?
Since many of the products we sell need to be prescribed by a physiotherapist or fitted by an orthotist, we recommend you discuss this with a specialist first. However, if you already know what you need, you are welcome to buy directly from us through this website. We do not have a store or showroom and therefore if purchasing through our website you are unable to see the product first. We do however accept exchanges and returns for items that have not been used and are still in their original packaging.

Some items must be prescribed by an orthotist or medical professional and will show POA instead of a price. For these products, please chat to your physiotherapist, orthotist or a medical professional about how you can be prescribed and fitted for the item.
Will ACC pay for the cost of the brace or support?
If you require the product due to the result of an accident, you may be able to have this item covered by ACC. We recommend that you discuss this with your ACC Case Manager first. We are unable to charge ACC for any products unless we receive a purchase order from them.
